Could I plug my modem into this or can you recommend a different item?

Asked by: Edward
This item would work but you would have to put a micro filter into it to allow connection of an ADSL modem. Please note adding large runs of cable will have a negative impact on ADSL connection speeds.

Is this cable CW1308?  This will be used to move a ADSL router to a new location, and will be routed within a ceiling and past a server room (concerned about interference).

Asked by: Matthew
No this is not CW1308 and would not be suitable for this purpose, this is designed to allow you to create an extension port for phones, extending the broadband signal by 15m could cause you speed or connection related issues.
