Rated 1 out of 5 by from I've tried this item on four different phones in my house: two corded, two cordless. On the corded phones I got a very faint recording which was so quiet, and so full of background noise, that I couldn't make out any of the words spoken by anyone. On the cordless phones I got nothing but static. I used a high-quality voice recorder, so know that's not the problem. I'm taking it back for a refund.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Similar problems Exactly the same problems as the first reviewer. Sound so quiet that you cannot hear it and if you amplify it using Audacity it's just noise. Taking it back tomorrow for a refund.

where does the sucker attach to on the phone, will it work when pluged into the "line in" socket on a tape deck?
Asked by: Marvin
The sucker attaches anywhere on the equipment where it can pick up the electromagnetic field and it must be connected to a mic level input. (not line level)
