About this product

Product overview

• A universal temperature sensitive switch with adjustable sensitivity
• Single pole changeover relay rated at 24V 10A (not suitable for direct switching of mains voltages)
• Requires a 12V power supply

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A good building block I bought this to play around with a solar thermal hot water system and found it to be quite a neat and cost effective solution for a simple DC pump controller. I've since bought several of these...slightly cheaper than buying the parts separately and having to etch my own PCB! By replacing the pot and using a fixed resistor and a second thermistor, it is an easy matter to turn this into a differential controller. If you want to go even more accurate, you could substitute an LM335Z temperature sensor for the thermistor. A nice little kit, with potential to build from.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does the job I have a 35 Amp verible power supply for my Ham Radio equipment and the fan was on constantly, not needed when just drawing low current while listening. Built this kit and set the preset to turn the fan on when PSU heatsink got warm. Perfect for the job. Dave Chester M6DOA

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The operative word is KIT. Having built the circuit it works to a certain extent i.e. it turns on and off. But have not yet got it to control a cooling cabinet temperature. Still working on it.
