Rated 1 out of 5 by from I bought Three Immersion Heater Time Controllers abd none have worked correctly. You have been warned

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well as a free-standing timer I use this to time a room heater; the switch enables me to switch it on or off manually until the next programmed function takes over. It would be better if it had a three-pin plug, rather than having to wire it to an external plug for connection to the 240v main.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Short life! In spite of a 3-year guarantee, this device failed after just 11 months - and only one on/off setting was ever being used. I have better things to do than keep replacing the device - and think of the cost to call an electrician to do that repeat work. Device not fit for purpose!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does what it needs to do As long as you follow the wiring diagram there should not be any problems!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doesn't last despite being expensive As with other posts on this page... I bought one only about 2 years ago and it has just failed (no longer switches on or off). Seemed expensive at the time and now proves a very poor investment. There are cheaper alternatives.. I'll be trying one of those.

I've looked at videos online and they don't have an exact or very similar model, they all have a 'timer' mode along with 'on/off'. I understand setting the time and putting the pins, but what is the 'on/off' switch for? Do I switch it on and then set

Asked by: Sash
The On/Off switch would be for a manual override, so for example if you wish to switch the heater on during a time it would normally be off, you can switch the override to the On position. This will start the heater until such time as you either switch the manual override off, or the timer hits a Off command pin.

I have a mechanical electronic immersion heater time controller. Order code N05HJ £19.99 but it shows as out of stock. Actually I just need some replacement pins as we have lost all but 4 of them. Can I just buy the pins of this brand or another brand please? Thanks
Asked by: Joanne Grierson
Unfortunately these are not available seperately.
