What speeds can I expect from this device?
Have your own personal Wi-Fi hotspot with this TP-Link M7350 device. A built-in 3G/4G modem means you can simply insert a 4G SIM (sold separately)card into the device to instantly setup a selectable dual band Wi-Fi hotspot. The support for 4G provides you with up to 150Mbps download and 50Mbps upload speeds, so you can enjoy HD movies without the buffering and download files within seconds.

Selectable dual band Wi-Fi for a choice between 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz, lets you choose a 5Ghz frequency for less interference with other devices or a 2.4Ghz frequency for increased range. Each band can transmit the signal at 300Mbps for quick transfers of files between devices. This device can support up to 10 users simultaneously and provide each of them with a 4G connection.

Is there a dedicated app for this device?
Easily access and manage your M7350 from any connected Android or iOS device with the tpMiFi app. Through it you can set up data limits, control which devices can connect to your device, send message and share media files to/from a removable microSD card. With support for up to a 32GB microSD card you can easily share your pictures, videos, music and more.

What other features are there?
An 1.4 inch touchscreen TFT display provides you with an intuitive view of the device’s operating status, such as signal strength, network type (4G/3G/2G), Wi-Fi status, message, traffic statistics and battery life. This helps you monitor your data usage so you don’t go over your monthly allowance. Using the touchscreen display you can quickly change the network type, data roaming, frequency band, view the password and network name, making it really easy to use.

How easy is this device to set up?
Simply insert a 4G SIM card to create a Wi-Fi hotspot for you to use while you’re on the move. Instantly share a 4G/3G connection to Wi-Fi enabled devices such as tablets, mobile phones, laptops, game consoles and more.

What is the battery life like on this device?
Wherever you may be or going to, the M7350 is compact enough for you to take on your travels, business trips and outdoor activities. The 2550mAh battery gives you up to 10 hours and for added flexibility you can recharge it with a micro USB cable connected to a laptop, portable charger or mains adapter. You could even prolong your battery life with the power saving mode feature, which lets you select the Wi-Fi coverage depending on how long you want the battery to last. You can also set the device to turn off automatically if no devices connect to it within a specified amount of time (10 minutes by default).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very useful piece of kit We had one of these on a trip around Australia but it was locked to Telstra. So I have bought an unlocked one for travelling the rest of the world. They let you use up to 10 devices and have a good range so long as there is a network signal (i.e. it can't work where your mobile telephone would not work). We are also using a unit in a shared house for internet access for the tenants. It works very well on all three floors.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Maplin lies to sell older version of router The router is OK, but you will be sent V3 which is out of support for updates, V4 is the latest which a Maplin representative lied about being sent out (see the Q&A section). Don't try contacting customer services who won't apologise for the mistake (they also just hung up on me).

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Confusing Ordered online, arrived in good time. Set up steps were straight forward to read, actual set up a disaster. Spent 45 mins online with customer service to no avail. Rang the SIM card provider, was told I need a different sim (this was not mentioned when I ordered). Bought a new sim, followed instructions again still. O connection to wifi. When to maplin store, where it obviously connected to there wifi and I was told it worked fine. Went back to car, tryed to connect to wifi and no connection. 1 week later and the issue has not been resolved.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant and portable. Good internet speeds on 4G. Navigate as you walk. Works well abroad on 3mobile.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from poor range, always disconnects for no reason Range on device is poor, but knew that before purchase. Best to be within a few feet if you want a decent connection. Main problem is that device keeps resetting connection / switching between 3g/4g which loses connection to other devices.... I'm always seeing 'connected, no Internet' despite 4g connection on device. I wouldn't recommend product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does what it says on the tin I have been using this for about 3 months. Initially setting it up was tricky so i gave up. When I came back after putting a SIM in and leaving it powered up for a few hours everything just worked! Sometimes you have to be on the same floor for it to connect to your device and battery use is poor. I tend to leave it connected to a USB power source. App works well. For the money a good purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Clever little gadget Had this about a month and it works really well, it apparently is only receiving 3G but still runs wifi at about 17mbs. Can't fault it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to use but low signal Very easy to set up. The signal is quite weak compared to the TP link wireless router....also compared to an iphone for example. Therefore have only managed 3G at the moment. However, easy to use, looks good & useful display on front.Could do with a longer lead for charging from plug, although fine for linking up to USB on laptop, which to be fair is more likely.

This is not locked to any specific network, however we only have details of use with UK networks so would be unable to guarantee compatibility on other countries networks.
