TP-LINK's 150Mbps wireless N Nano USB adapter, TL-WN725N allows users to connect a desktop or notebook computer to a wireless network at 150Mbps. This miniature adapter is designed to be as convenient as possible and once connected to a computer’s USB port, can be left there, whether traveling or at home. It also features advanced wireless encryption and easy installation.

With its miniature size and sleek design, users can connect the nano adapter to any USB port and leave it there. There’s no need to worry about blocking adjacent USB interfaces or that the adapter may fall out when moving a connected laptop from A to B, with the tiny device flush against the USB port.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have to say, this is the easiest -to-setup wireless nano adapter I've ever found. I'm an ex-Windows user of over 20 years; just moved from XP to Ubuntu Linux. It was easy to set up in Windows. Under Linux, it's even easier; plug it in, wait a minute or two, 2-3 mouse clicks, enter your wireless security key, and you're away! Brilliant. Well done, T-P Link...nice one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Got one of these little guys today! i was toying with joining two to three network cables with back to back connectors, but it would mean having more cables lying around; the dongle was cheaper in price, very compact and NO cables! I use a mobile broadband dongle for it ordinarily, it works well and its payg with another network, but why pay that when i can get wi-fi in my own home with my home router? Its ideal for those older laptops that have no wireless built in, you just plug in the dongle which is very small, and then check your settings; and off ye go! My laptop is an IBM think-pad and doesn't get much use other than if i take it with me when we're away in the caravan, or if i'm updating it. But i'll be able to use it anywhere now if i know the settings for wi-fi. Its best to configure it to work with your windows settings, let windows decide what the settings are and use existing settings. You dont have to go through a new network wizard; you just load the mini CD to install it and configure, thats it! Its designed for home use, but could be used any where that has a wi-fi signal, such as a hotel eg. It wont give mobile broadband signal such as, in the car, but its not meant to; there are mobile networks and tariffs for that. Its about the size of a ?ъ1 coin, thats how small it is. I could have gone for something a lot bigger and more pricey anywhere, but i opted for this from my local friendly Maplins store in Hamilton! these guys know their stuff and were able to inspire me with ideas; it was they who showed me this dongle! Why not!! For something so small it does so much!
