This Nano router is multifunctional and allows you to use the router in many different modes. The ‘router’ mode instantly creates a private wireless network and shares internet access with multiple Wi-Fi devices, making it ideal for use in most hotels. The ‘hotspot’ mode allows you to enjoy wireless internet access by connecting to an outdoor WISP access point. The ‘range extender’ mode repeats existing Wi-Fi to improve signal strength and maximize coverage. The ‘client’ mode allows devices that require a wired connection to access an existing Wi-Fi network. Lastly, the ‘access point’ mode creates a wireless network for Wi-Fi devices. The TL-WR802N is tiny – making it a perfect choice for travellers, students and anyone else who lives life on the go.

What can I expect from this router's wireless capabilities?
The 2.4GHz band, with a maximum transfer rate of 300Mbps, provides ample bandwidth for stable web or email access. The Nano router can also act as a wireless range repeater, by expanding the range of received wireless signals.

What wired connections does this router have?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does the job - good value. The device was attractively packaged, looked professional and of good quality and the concise instructions were clear and only technical were necessary. The device was easy to set up for my application (providing a wifi access point on my home wired ethernet network) and worked straight away. The wifi signal strength is absolutely fine, even through a wall. I am very happy with my purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works perfectly with Youview box/BT Home Hub6 I bought two to get around the wireless problem with the BT Home Hub6 router wireless. Due to the house wiring I was unable to use power line adapters. Once I had set up the routers my BT Sport worked perfectly. Please note it may be easier to use TL-WR702N routers as they are easier to set up - 702N is wireless or data cable while 802N is wireless only.

Simple to install and configure - just follow the easy, simple-to-follow instructions included and you are ready to go!
