What different experiments can I enjoy with this kit?
Keep on experimenting with more than 72 different options and many different components from LEDs to microphones and reed switches to speakers. Create a time delay electric colour filter, magnet controlled flashing LED, touch controlled bell and LED and even a working AM or FM radio. Combine multiple functions and test your skills at creating more complicated kits or get into electronics with the simple beginner circuits, there’s something here for everybody no matter what level. The kit uses four AA batteries (sold separately Order Code <L43AL>)

How do you use the boards?
No soldering is required with this kit, all the components can be connected using the supplied wires fitting into the springs on the board. When you’re done with one experiment simply move the wires to the next combination on the instructions. Learn about electricity and electronics and have fun doing it with the Tronex 32072 kit. Experiment with how resistors, LDRs, LEDs, speakers, transistors, speakers and capacitors can be used.

This kit should be used with adult supervision and assistance and is suitable for children aged 8 plus.

Ideal for younger children to learn about electronics before move onto computer programming and understand flow & control. As her Dad, I wish I had this toy when I was 9yr and no I didn't buy this present really for me. She understands the instructions and how to make the 72 ready to go circuits. Great educational fun present for any kids.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good potential, but poor instructions On the face of it this kit is great. It looks good, the kids love playing with it and it is very easy to use and wire up. The biggest problem is the instruction manual. Although it very clearly explains how to connect up a circuit (1 to 33, 4 to 51 etc etc) it doesn't explain how the circuits work or what the components do. This is a HUGE omission and seriously limits the educational value in my opinion. Some of the circuit design is a bit dubious too, meaning you can damage components due to overloading which I think is unacceptable in a child's kit.

I too am concerned about the possible lack of a manual. &nbsp;My great nephew is 8 y.o. and his dad, my nephew, is no electronics expert!

The manuals are actually quite good for these, once you learn how to read them, it is a case of connecting the wires based on the numbers.
