From the OFCOM website: You don't need to hold a Wireless Telegraphy (WT) Act licence in order to operate Citizens’ Band Radio equipment, providing that the equipment is operated in accordance with the WT (Exemption) (Amendment) Regulations 2006.

I have just purchased the TTI TCB - 900 for my FH12 Volvo and there is no select switch to go from 12v to 24v the instruction manual under safety requirement tells you the power cable is for13.2v DC only ?

Asked by: vatman 2
The majority of CB radios run on 13.2v. If you were to run this at home - you would likely buy a dedicated 13.2v power supply. However the item is designed to be plugged into a power source ranging from 12v to 24v. The manual diagram of the the radio does show 13.2v but also at the end of the manual it does state you can use between 12v to 24v.
