Considering all the questions for 4 years have related to the input coil voltage it would have been a really good idea to have edited the details to include this information. PDF file shows 6 voltage options for this family - which is it?

Is this relay a direct replacement for the Songle SRD-24VDC-SL-A and if not, do you please have one that is?

Asked by: Steviebluenose
We have provided a datasheet for the relay on the listing https://maplindownloads.s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/YX97F-10042.pdf This contains highly detailed information about the relay and it's mechanical and electrical characteristics. Unfortunately we cannot confirm/deny if it would be suitable as a replacement for another component that would be for you to determine based on the technical information provided.

Ref: mains relay YX97F I nedd to usea a 240V ac supply to activate a small relay and pass a low voltage signal. Your Bristol Store confirmed the above relay was appropriate. I ordered it from you but want to check if it is OK. Urgent

Asked by: Taxes1
If I have interpreted your question correctly, then I understand that you want to detect the prescence of a 240V AC supply, and then send a 'low level' signal to something like a computer or logic circuit. If this is the case, then you would need to use a 12Volt DC PSU connected to the 240V AC supply that you wish to monitor, and use the PSU output to operate the relay coil (as the relay coil requires a nominal 12V dc supply to operate) - the 'normally open' or 'normally closed' contacts could then be used to provide an signal to a logic input. If you need to send an actual low level voltage signal rather than connecting a simple 'open or closed switch' to the logic circuit, then this could be obtained via a potential divider from the same 12 volt power supply. I would counsel caution, and if you are not 100% familiar working with 240 V AC circuits you must get someone more experienced to check your idea out, and review your circuitry before applying power!

Will the pin layout permit the relay to be mounted on standard 0.1 matrix board?

Asked by: Mr Bob
Pin placement and spacing are illustrated on the datasheet for the device (see link), you can check these dimensions against the spacing of the board you have. https://maplindownloads.s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/YX97F-10042.pdf
