About this product

Product overview

• Enclosure for up to four SDHC memory cards to turn them into a RAID device
• Supports standard SD and SDHC cards
• Combine multiple SD cards into one large mass storage device

What does this enclosure do?
With this enclosure you can combine a number of memory cards to create one large storage device. The built-in RAID software allows you to change the function of what memory cards can do, meaning you can make it perform in the best way for you. By choosing RAID 0 you can boost the speed and enhance your system performance. By selecting JBOD mode (Just a Bunch of Disks), you can use the system as four individual cards and save to the cards separately.

NB: SD Cards Not Included

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bought this item thinking I could re-use my SDCards as one nice big RAID drive. Too good to be true I'm afraid! Have tried several IDENTICAL SDCards (in 4 x card configuration) and half the time it won't even format (tried Quick/Full NTFS,FAT32 & eXfat) using Windows 7 & Easius Partition Master & even the HP Flash Drive format Tool! Even when it DOES finally format, when you plug it in again (or ANOTHER PC) it comes up 'Unformatted drive'.Shame really, as it has great potential! ;-(

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Brought this the other day in the Cambridge branch. So far have tried a variety of SDHC cards and run many tests with CrystalDiskMark only to discover that it seems to offer no speed boost what so ever, It actually seems to slow down when I add more than one card.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I have had this item just under a month, after inserting 4 x 32GB KIngston sd cards and formatting as per instructions found that in raid array there were read errors. After thoroughly checking with H2testW (win32) this was confirmed. A single card works fine! Sorry to be so negative.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from After just three weeks this is failing with numerous disk errors. Whilst a good idea it's poorly executed and unreliable. I wouldn't put anything of importance on it.
