This product is sold in units of 1 metre, up to a maximum length in 1 piece of 100 metres. Orders placed for a quantity of 100 units, or multiples of 100 units will be supplied on a reel; otherwise the cable will be supplied cut to length.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Cable I've been making up a variety of guitar cables using the Van Damme XKE, and am delighted with the results. Absolutely silent, tough and manageable and its relatively low capacitance (90pF/m) minimises any high-end roll-off - even with very long cables. Terminate with Neutrik jacks and you'll have a cable at least as good as any premium ready made guitar cable. Just watch out for the black sheath around the inner conductor, which is conductive and needs to be (very carefully) stripped back from the inner insulator to make sure it doesn't make contact with the "hot" terminal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from excellent quality I purchased 3m of this to make up a cable to replace the stock item in a yamaha pacifica guitar pack. The original cable caused lots of hiss and pickup which was surprising. Used this XKE pro cable with two neutrik jacks and the result was silence even on the single coil pickups until my amp was at 3/4 volume, then just audible. So a result, quite shocking to hear the difference of the two cables side by side. So highly reccomend using this for instrument cable builds at low cost yet still getting low capacitance and good RF screening. Also easy to strip and tin.
