• Variable print speed gives more control to print with a wide variety of print materials
• Very Large 200 mm x 200 mm x 200 mm build area
• Print using 3 mm filament
• Print with ABS, PLA
• Heated print bed to help prevent printed parts from warpingBring your creations to life with 3D printing
The Velleman K8200 3D printer uses a single extruder designed for 3.00 mm filament, capable of printing using ABS and PLA. ABS provides a tougher and stronger finish but requires a higher temperature, around 230 Celsius, which makes it great for heat resistant parts. PLA is slightly flexible and requires a much lower temperature, around 210 Celsius, it is also non-toxic; it is also less prone to warping when printing. There are a variety of filament materials, finishes and colours available allowing you to create your 3D models exactly how you want them.
How easy is this 3D printer to set up and use?
The printer requires assembly, so it’s fantastic for electronics enthusiasts, whether it be one of many projects, or even a first project. To construct the Velleman K8200 3D Printer there will be soldering required, precision application of metalwork components, cable management instructions will also be provided to ensure there’s no snagging while it prints, you will also need to run through levelling the build plate and other first time set up prompts, which are fundamental to ensure your prints come out perfect every time.
