Bring your creations to life with 3D printing
The Velleman K8200 3D printer uses a single extruder designed for 3.00 mm filament, capable of printing using ABS and PLA. ABS provides a tougher and stronger finish but requires a higher temperature, around 230 Celsius, which makes it great for heat resistant parts. PLA is slightly flexible and requires a much lower temperature, around 210 Celsius, it is also non-toxic; it is also less prone to warping when printing. There are a variety of filament materials, finishes and colours available allowing you to create your 3D models exactly how you want them.

How easy is this 3D printer to set up and use?
The printer requires assembly, so it’s fantastic for electronics enthusiasts, whether it be one of many projects, or even a first project. To construct the Velleman K8200 3D Printer there will be soldering required, precision application of metalwork components, cable management instructions will also be provided to ensure there’s no snagging while it prints, you will also need to run through levelling the build plate and other first time set up prompts, which are fundamental to ensure your prints come out perfect every time. The skills gathered during the building of the Velleman K8200 3D Printer will prepare you for any potential troubleshooting issues you may incur, as well as the great experience stepping into electronics.

As this is used, does it still come built or as a kit, or is it still a kit, or has it been built then broken down back into a kit?

Why is the 'used' version £80 more expensive than the new version?

Asked by: Cluck
The word "used" refers to an item that has been out to a customer and returned for various reasons and in most cases the item hasn't even been opened,. And because it has been "used" it stays at its original price , where the UN used items can be sold at a lower price i.e on promo.

A used kit? Does this mean someone started building it and gave up? Please tell me what used means with a kit this complex.
