What can I create with this solder kit?
Watch Father Christmas and Rudolf run through the snow on their way around the world by creating this colourful LED display (manufactures code MK116). You can create the scene with 126 LEDs in red, yellow and green with the reindeer running and the flashing lights on the sleigh and reigns. The display stands upright on its own and has an easily accessible on/off switch. The 160 parts come together to create this great Santa and Rudolf display to get you into the holiday spirit for Christmas.

How can I learn with this kit?
Practise soldering and learn about electronics and circuits with this riding Santa solder kit which uses resistors, capacitors, transistors, and LEDs to create a fun festive display. Learn how they are connected in a circuit and get practical experience soldering them to create this moving picture. You can also experiment with different wiring combinations with the LEDs to see what a difference it makes. This kit requires a soldering iron and solder and may require wire cutters.

How easy is this kit to solder?
Fun to solder, this is a great kit for someone who wants to try their hand at a more complicated solder project. It’s ideal for learning about electronics and practising soldering multiple types of components. Building the kit is just the start. You could create a display (not included) for Father Christmas and Rudolf to run through, either to protect the electronics or stamp your own mark on the kit. It runs off a DC 9-12V power supply and comes with a battery holder for a 9V (PP3) battery (battery not included) and a power jack for a mains or car adapter (not included)
