About this product

Overview

Product overview

• Record a 30-90 second message and play back with this kit
• Features an on board microphone and speaker
• Simple and fun to solder with 35 parts
• Requires a single 9V battery (not included – Order Code L46AL)

What can I do with this kit?
Record a memo to yourself or leave a message for others with this single message record and playback kit (manufacture code MK195). With an adjustable sampling rate you can record from 30 seconds to 90 seconds with a nominal recording tie of 60 seconds. Use the push switches to record, play, erase, fast forward and alter the volume. You can also alter the speed of the playback and create a funny voice effect. With a compact 77mm x 60mm x 15mm board you can fit the kit inside many projects. With 35 parts this is a great kit for those looking to get more practice with soldering.

What can I learn from this sound generator kit?
Practise soldering and learn about electronics and circuits with this electronic sound generator kit. It uses resistors, capacitors, a transistor, microchip, microphone and a speaker, and will help you learn how to connect a circuit. This circuit contains many different components, and gives a great opportunity to see them all in action. The kit contains everything you need from the microphone to the speaker and all the effects and triggers in between. This kit requires a
soldering iron and solder, and may require wire cutters.

How easy is this kit to solder?
Simple to solder, this kit is great for beginners looking to move to the next level or those looking to practise their soldering skills. Putting the kit together is just the start of your adventure – you may want to create an enclosure (not included) for the kit to protect the electronics taking care not to cover the microphone speaker or input switches. This kit requires 9-12V power supply and comes with a 9V (PP3) clip (battery not included – Order Code L46AL).

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Missing part Sadly this kit arrived without the microphone. Everything else was marvellous! However I do now need to source a tiny mic. Maplins here I come.
