What can I connect to with my interface board?
With the ability to control and monitor digital and analogue devices from your PC, this is a great kit for home automation, educational purposes and many more projects (manufacturer’s code VM110N). Interface up to five digital inputs, eight digital outputs, two analogue inputs and two analogue outputs through your USB socket. You can further expand your system by connecting up to four cards to your PC. With a general conversion time of 20ms per command, extra cards won’t slow you down.

What will I need to assemble my interface board?

This board comes prebuilt, so all you need to do is connect up your interfaces - no soldering is required. Get a great look at the workings of the circuit and the components, which include resistors, capacitors and microchips.

What system requirements are there for my PC?
The interface board works using a Dynamic Link Library (DLL) but you can write your own custom library in Windows (98SE, 2000, Me, XP) applications in Delphi, Visual Basic, C++ Builder or any other 32-bit Windows application development tool that supports calls to a DLL. You will also need a CD-ROM player, mouse and one USB 1.0 or higher port.

This is easy peasy to use with glovepie if you have no progamming knowledge &want to get started. The inputs on this board are not much better than a usb joystick but the outputs are what make this great. Save yourself a headache get a prebuilt one.
