How do I wire this for use on 230 volts?

Asked by: jbhtrams
We cannot offer full advice on mains electrical installations, this job would be best left down To qualified Electricians, if you are at all unsure we would strongly recommend consulting a qualified electrician for help and support or to complete the job for you.

Can the output coils be connected in parallel to provide a 2 Amp source?

Asked by: Oldboy
Hi Billy Now that's really not a very helpful answer, is it? If you had taken two minutes to look at the data sheet for this item (which Maplin e-mailed me promptly upon my request), it clearly shows that the two secondary windings can be linked either in parallel to provide twice the current, or in series to provide twice the voltage.
