Rated 1 out of 5 by from rubbish! The gloves themselves are comfortable and warm but the heating elements are not what I was expecting. I couldn't feel anything for a while so at first I wasn't sure if they they were working but after a while you can feel a small amount of heat but nothing great. Not worth the price, better off just buying some good quality thermal gloves.

Once the batteries have heated up do the gloves retain the heat so you can switch the battery off? I've bought these as a Christmas gift and am slightly embarrassed that someone cycling a two hour round trip in cold weather will have to buy TWELVE AA alkaline batteries to use the gloves constantly for that time. Really? \uD83D\uDE1E

I would strongly advise on using rechargeable batteries for these gloves. A good set of high capacity rechargeable batteries (around 2500mah) I think would last the full two hours round trip you mention. I even think they may last double that. I am quite a heavy user of rechargeable batteries and find that with todays technology they last longer than standard batteries when it comes to high tech gadgets and a decent charger will only take a couple of hours to charge them fully.

Hi Are the gloves waterproof? Many thanks
Asked by: Andy
They are not designed to be used under water, but a small amount of rain would cause no issues.

How long do the batteries last and can re-chargeable batteries be used?
Asked by: Dave
A good set of batteries would last around 30 minutes, with regards to rechargeable, standard ones @ 1.2V will not work but you can buy special 1.5V ones which work very well.
