Rated 5 out of 5 by from I bought one of these just over a year ago at my local Maplin store and it has had almost daily use since then. I have had no problems with signal in my house and sound quality (through a proper hi-fi system) is excellent. Some reviewers have had problems with these units not working - that problem is solved easily be re-pairing the sender and receiver (just like bluetooth). Unfortunately the supplied instructions don't explain how to do this so for the benefit of others this is the way: Put some music on play. Press and hold the on/off button on the receiver unit until it starts flashing quickly twice in succession, then press the button on the sender dongle attached to your computer. It doesn't always pick up the signal first time, but do persevere - it will work. I thought my unit had stopped working too until I figured this out.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I bought this device to play music from my PC to an elderly hi-fi unit to another part of the house. Although the range is only about 15m, the radio signal does struggle to get through an external wall, an internal wall, a floor and the occasional passer-by. I've tried it in other rooms, with fewer obstacles, and it works fine. In particular, it has been useful to be able to use the headphone socket so that I can listen to internet radio sitting somewhere comfortable, rather than having to sit on an office chair in front of the PC. Although I've been a bit disappointed with the product, it is worth keeping as I'm sure there will be times when it will have future uses.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from looking at this Audio Transmitter it looked like just what i needed. But didn't really think it would do the job i intended it for. I decided to give it a go so bought one. when i got it its size surprised me it was a lot smeller then it looks in the picture. Never-the-less i want ahead and installed it, install was so easy a child of five could do it. When i powered the A24GU up "Boy" i was taken back with surprise, this is one piece of series hardware.... I can't fault at all.. and at the price i paid what a bargain, i would give this Audio Transmitter 10/10 100%

Rated 1 out of 5 by from When i came to use it through one wall the reception was useless and it interferes with the WiFi signal in my house. I tried using it with WiFi turned off but still the audio breaks up. Do not buy, pay more for something better moderator note: if interference is experienced from a router then changing the channel on said router should prevent this (this can be done via the routers own configuration page)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great little piece of kit, works exceptionally well, but I have two very slight reservations: The first is that the USB device actually takes over your audio output, so it's one or the other, not both. The other, which is pretty insignificant, is that installation in W7 takes significantly longer than XP and requires a restart. XP just accepted the device, no questions asked. Would I recommend? Absolutely!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Only just bought this item and it is potentially very good. Very easy to set up in Windows Vista and enables a very good audio input to my reasonably good Hi Fi. Great to play iTunes direct with no problems what soever from my lap top. However, the transmitter blankets out my WiFi such that it cannot stream Spotify, BBC or anything else from 'ternet unless you put the transmitter on the end of a USB cable and move it away from the computer. Then it works fine, but no longer exactly wireless but not precisely hard wired to the back of the amp. The sound is good though, much richer, clear and precise than Bluetooth.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Excellent when it works then it simply stops after a few weeks. I've sent back two for testing (by the manufacturer, not by Maplin) - told they are fine, then the problem recurs. Very frustrating - I've given up.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I bought this several months ago and it pretty much does what its meant to do. It did stop working last week and i thought it had just packed in. I read a review on here and found that i had to re-pair the base unit to the dongle and hey presto we're all good again. I do have an issue with it intermittently losing the signal causing the sound to break up which is very frustrating. The pc is about 15 feet away and there is nothing in between that should block the signal so any suggestions on this would be appreciated. Can't fault the sound quality when its working properly. My 4 star rating is only due to the signal breaking up which to be fair may be interference from elsewhere.

Is this bluetooth? If not do you sell a bluetooth transmitter - a transmitter not a receiver - your staff i Bolton don't seem to know the difference.

I have replaced my old amplifier with a Marantz CD Receiver M-CR610. I am now trying to connect my Nikkai USB wireless Audio Kit (A24GU) but cannot work out how! I am trying to play music from my Lenovo Ideapad 310.

Asked by: FJG1867
The user guide for your unit can be found here ... http://us.marantz.com/us/products/pages/ProductDetails.aspx?CatId=WirelessMusicSystems&ProductId=MCR610 page 2 shows a diagram of the device with analogue audio 1 & 2 inputs on the rear of the unit, you should be able to connect to these
