Rated 3 out of 5 by from Incompatible with Standard Braun plug pins. Purchased to adapt a Braun 5210, 2 round pin lead to a UK socket. This q2 type 1.100130 World to UK, plus USB adapter has multiple holes but none for the Braun pins, which are the standard size. Thin 2 round pin plugs fit perfectly but they are rare in my experience. I'm keeping the adapter anyway for the inevitable need but am off to buy a basic adapter for the Braun.

I have an Apple MacBook Pro from USA. Charging cable shows this - Input 100-240V~1.5A 50-60Hz, Output 20.3V=3A (USB PD) or 9V=3A (USB PD) or 5.2V=2.4A. Would this adapter work with this device?

Asked by: Jai1109
Yes it should be fine, your power supply features auto voltage and frequency so all you need do is change the shape of the plug to UK shape in order for it to work here in UK.

Small kitchen appliance bought online from the USA. Power spec. is 120V - 60Hz 800W. Appliance has US 2-pin polarised plug (one blade wider than the other). Can I use this adapter in Ireland (240V supply) to power the appliance?

Asked by: amk1697
This would not work and would damage the appliance. You require a 1KW voltage converter which can be found at the link below:
