Easy to Setup and Ready to Go
The Yale PIR Intruder Alarm and Padlock is a standalone PIR motion detector alarm with built in siren. The Alarm has a programmable 4 digit security PIN to deactivate the alarm. No wiring needed as the Yale PIR Intruder Alarm and Padlock is battery operated (batteries not included Order Code L42AL).

How can I use my alarm most effectively?
If the Yale PIR Intruder Alarm and Padlock detects movement when it is armed, it will activate the siren. The best placement for the Yale PIR Intruder Alarm and Padlock is in corners of rooms an intruder would need to pass through or covering an entranceway for example, a door, entrance hall or landing where the keypad is accessible within the alarms delay period. With the included Yale brass padlock and secure hasp you can add even more security to protect what matters to you.
