Where can I use my key access?
Never leave your keys out in the open again with this locked key box. Weather resistant for outdoor use it allows you to store your keys in the strong die-cast body and set the combination lock. No power or signal is needed for the key box.

Who can use my key access box?
Perfect for storing a spare key for carers or cleaners or in case the kids forget their key. Easily concealable the best placement for the box is somewhere accessible but not too visible and it is simple to attach to a wall. The three wheel combination is straightforward to change and can be altered as often as you wish for added security.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Best of the bunch I bought this after a wide search for one with mechanical digits that wouldn't lock unless the digits were re-scrambled when closing. All others seen appear to allow closure leaving the combination fully exposed - almost unbelievable in any product claiming to be secure. In this one, a spring plunger pushes the door back so that it drops down until hinged up and re-scrambled. It's not perfect, in that not all digits have to be re-scrambled, but its the closest to it I've seen (I'm going to put a label inside as a reminder to do all 4). The digits themselves are given further protection against the elements from a sliding flap covering them. Although mainly designed for Yale-type keys, there is a square hole in the bottom of the inner sanctum that allows for longer keys (5-lever ones etc). In the usual attempt to be international, the instructions are a few scanty pictures on a page, and in the pack I received (which may not have been fully sealed), there were no fixings found, but I was fortunate in already having suitable ones at home. If looks count, this one has certainly has eye appeal too and makes others look like a carbuncle placed on the wall. Until other manufacturers produce a better solution to the digits scrambling problem, this one beats them all.

The lock mechanism takes up the majority of the internal space meaning you can't even fit a standard car key fob inside which was what I wanted it for. Would be ok for a single house key but that's about all.

Is the combination order relevant ie if set to 1234 will 2143 unlock it like other keysafes on the market?

Looking at the picture, it seems that there is a button to spring open the flap as opposed to a tiny latch to pull down. Is this correct?

Like many other key safes with rotating digits I've looked at, does this one require them to be scrambled manually when the box is closed. Otherwise, the danger of someone leaving the box unlocked on closure is too great to call this a secure solution.

It comes with 4 screws which would be fine for wood, but fitting it to brick is the better option. Yale recommend using anchors. These will be far more secure than the screws with wall plugs (the latter not supplied).
