Can I connect to my alarm with my smartphone?
The Yale Smart Home Alarm and View kit apps gives you full control of your alarm system from your smartphone. The app lets you know if your home is fully secured, which helps relieve stress or worry if you are away for long periods of time. You can check your home anytime and anywhere via the Yale Smart Home Alarm app, and the PIR camera can send you picture alerts and notifications if the alarm is triggered.

What features does this Yale Smart Home Alarm and View Kit have?
Beyond remote connectivity to the smartphone, this Yale kit is packed with other features to help keep your home secure. The PIR image camera allows you to view the inside of your home, and when a sensor or PIR is triggered, a loud siren is set off to scare intruders away and alert you and your neighbours. This Yale Kit will allow you to expand the system and tailor it to your home. You can also add up to 20 devices, of which six can be PIR image/video cameras. All components are self-contained and no wired connections are required between units, meaning you won’t damage any of your décor, have to lift carpet or run cables when installing. The ‘home arming’ mode allows the premises to be part armed so that no one can get inside without warning the occupier, while the person already inside the house can move freely without triggering the alarm.

Easy to set up and ready to go
This simple to install system has been designed with the user in mind. There is no need to wire into the mains supply or seek the services of a qualified electrician. The Smart Hub is powered by an adaptor and all other components are powered by battery (all batteries included). All devices must be within 30 metres of the Smart Hub and must not be mounted on or near large metal objects. All accessories in the kit are already pre-learned to the system, making the setup and installation quick and easy.

I have animals in the house. I see there is not a pet friendly camera PIR. Can i use the PIR camera just to view. Could i de activate the  PIR when the house is alarmed and use it just to monitor the room via my mobile?

Asked by: beej
You can set a partial alarm using the 'Home' arming mode, this will allow you to set sensors which are armed and keep some areas disabled from triggering. Full instructions on this and how to request video can be viewed in the manual located here; http://52.50.15.149:8072/Downloads/user-manual-9708
