Can I connect to my alarm with my smartphone?
The Yale Smart Home Alarm app gives you control of your alarm system from your smartphone. The app lets you know if your home is fully secured, which relieves stress or worry if you are away for long periods of time. You can check your home any time and from anywhere with the Yale Smart Home Alarm app.

What features does this kit have?
In addition to remote connectivity to your smartphone, this Yale kit is packed with other features to help keep your home secure. This Yale kit is expandable so you can tailor it to your home. You can add up to 20 devices, including up to six PIR image/video cameras (sold separately). When a sensor or PIR image camera is triggered, a loud siren is set off to scare intruders and alert you and your neighbours. All components are self-contained and no wired connections are required between units, meaning you won’t damage any of your décor, have to lift carpet or run cables when installing. The ‘home arming’ mode allows the premises to be part armed so that no one can get inside without warning the occupier, while the person already inside the house can move freely without triggering the alarm.


Easy to set up and ready to go
This simple to install system has been designed with the user in mind. There is no need to wire into the mains supply or seek the services of a qualified electrician. The smart hub is powered by an adaptor and all other components are powered by battery, with all batteries included. All devices must be within 30 metres of the smart hub and must not be mounted on or near large metal objects. All accessories in the kit box are already pre-learned to the system, making the setup and installation quick and easy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Yale Smart home alarm SR320 Easy to install after a bit of planning. I bought three extra PIR and it was easy to connect them to the alarm & name them using the app. The alarm has only got 2 zones but its easy to change PIR or door contacts to home omit, home access or burglar with the app, making it versatile in use. I put a door switch in the shed all the way down at the bottom of the garden and it works a treat with a strong signal. Email alerts & ability to arm, disarm from anywhere are really great. Working for 4 weeks and no problems or false alarms the app works fine. I would recommend this alarm.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not a polished product Looks great from cost and feature perspective. Easy to install, well setup from the factory and simple to add new sensors. Take care with PIR cases as the hooks for closing the case, located at the top are very flimsy and easily bend and break of when I drilled the holes for wall attachment. 10 mm gap for door sensor is generous, I needed to use less than that. Had a few issues and its been, just two weeks since it was installed. The siren reported multiple supervision failures. Needed to delete and retrain it to resolve the issue. Documentation is very light. Email sent to info@yale.co.uk received an auto response stating a response would be made within 3 days but 9 days later I'm still no wiser. While away for a few days all the sensors reported supervision failures at some point, no way to handle these remotely so was unsure if the alarm was functional during that period. On return all seemed to work except the siren failure and I need to get the long ladder out for the 5th time to fix that so I still haven't it. Perhaps yale will respond before tomorrow afternoon. The app is great in principle but it is a bit flaky. Notifications are too chatty, I get 5-10 per day for routine events but no detail on the worrying events like supervision failures. Its OK for the money if you have faith the teething issues can be resolved.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great once you get it set up I bought this to get some basic level of security added to my home. I was dubious about the small number of sensors but when you think about how many you really need, it’s pretty much spot on. I bought an extra PIR so I could put it in the shed which gave me an extra piece of mind. It did take a bit more setting up then I expected. I would suggest pairing all devices before you try to install them in their final locations. The apps are good but the android one does seem to crash quite a bit. That doesn’t actually detract from it working well though. You can choose in the app if you want a specific sensor to trigger always when armed, never when part armed or on a timer to allow you to enter and disarm. You can also have any sensor cause the hub to make a beep noise when it is triggered even if alarm is not armed e.g. when a door is opened. The SMS messages on alarm trigger come through pretty fast and you can setup multiple users each with their own pin code to disarm. Overall, very happy with the purchase. Only reason it doesn’t get a 5 star is the fact it took a couple of hours to get setup before install. The product suggests it’s all paired and ready to go but I found that not to be the case for me. Maybe it was just my unit that had an issue but it’s all worked since set up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Peace of mind Bought it following a shed break in, and a spate of increased burglaries in the area. Complete peace of mind knowing whats going on. House is alarmed as is the shed. Easy to install and configure. the only niggle I had was door chime mode with PIR's setting off the chime, a call with yale support resolved this a couple of weeks later.

You can play with the settings after it's all working. Great that you can configure, set and unset from your smart phone, PC (via browser) or the key pad

Installed and set up easy enough. All works fine apart from SMS messages. The APP reports a 0 allowance, and this is a new unit supplied by yourselves

Yale smart app not registering on my smart iphone Mentions restarting hub. Also hub light for internet was green but when port cable disconnected and connected fails to light again. Centre light behaves ok with door switch, key pad and pir's. Thanks Liam

Does this alarm have a chime function, which can sound a short alert if a sensor is triggered? My basic wired system does it which is useful is say the garage door is opened.
