It uses Wi-Fi HaLow™ technology, which is stronger and more reliable than traditional 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, capable of penetrating walls, ceilings, cement, and trees.

How is footage stored? Is there a subscription fee?


Footage is stored locally on an included 32GB MicroSD card, with no subscription fees required, and is easily accessible via the Swann Security App.

What is the camera's wireless range?


The MaxRanger 4K Mini can cover a perimeter distance of up to 1,000ft/300m in line of sight, and 330ft/100m through obstacles such as walls and trees.

Can I add more cameras to my system?


Yes, add-on cameras are available, but they must be connected to a compatible recorder to be viewed on a phone or computer. Swann provides a Camera Compatibility Chart to check which recorders are supported.
