Product overview

• Six output voltages - DC 3, 4.5, 5, 6, 9, 12V
• Maximum current 1000mA
• Eight interchangeable tips
• Lightweight, compact design
• LED power indicator

This power supply has six output voltages ranging from 3V to 12V, with eight interchangeable power tips to ensure a large range of compatibility.

The lightweight, compact design makes this power supply easy to transport and store, which makes it the perfect travelling companion. This can be used to replace your existing power supply if it gets damages or broken, or used as spare to take with you when you're out.

The LED power indicator will let you know that your power supply is plugged in and your device is charging.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Severe mains hum Bought one of these a few weeks ago - I service transistor radios and none ever seem to have their power supplies when I get them, and batteries can get expensive. The PSU does what it says on the tin, regarding the multitude of voltages, polarities and pin sizes that are out there; However, it suffers badly from mains hum, making it practically unusable as a power supply for a radio. On 'scoping it, there are sharp negative-going spikes superimposed on the DC, at the mains frequency. Must try to get it exchanged.

We need 20 units similar to this but we need the units to have a polarity inverter. Do you have any other mode yo can recommend?

Asked by: Stephen
Unfortunately we do not have anything with a automatic polarity detection. You can wire the tips to either centre positive or centre negative, but this would need to be done manually.

This unit is rated for 1000mA but it's not clear at what voltage this rating applies (the unit is variable voltage so one would expect different max current ratings at each voltage setting) can you tell me the max current rating for each voltage?

Asked by: Adam C
The PSU states that it is regulated. Therefore, it should be capable of supplying a stabilised o/p voltage that has been selected, and be able to accommodate a current draw of up to 1 amp. (1000ma)

Most of the images for this item show a red slider to control the voltage on the "back" of the unit (not the AC input side) but one photo shows the voltage being controlled by a rotary control on the AC input side. Please confirm the nature of the control

Asked by: Adam C
This can vary from item to item as the stock is mixed.
