Laminating pouches typically range from 3 mil to 10 mil thickness. A 3 mil pouch provides a flexible, thinner laminate, while a 5 mil pouch offers a standard, sturdy finish. For more durable protection, a 7 mil or 10 mil pouch is ideal, especially for documents that will be frequently handled.

While you technically can use regular printer paper for photos, it’s not recommended. Regular paper doesn't absorb ink as efficiently, resulting in lower-quality prints with less vibrant colours and detail. Photo paper is specifically designed to produce higher-quality images.
