This Failed almost immediately

Rather than buying a cheaper option I purchased this £10 model hoping it was higher quality and would work. It did work for a couple of days and then stopped charging the phone, and audio was intermittent.
I am very dissatisfied and now I have to spend time buying something else and trying to get a refund for an amount of money that makes me think, is it really worth the time? The lighting connector is a very bad design and has me trying different cables all the time to find one that connects. Hence trying trying to find a quality item that actually works,. It was not not this little horror.
Maplin, please arrange for a refund. I will gladly return the faulty item.

Good Points: Apple do not make an adaptor that does this. It's basically so you can listen on a 3.5mm jack and charge your phone at the same time. I have seen similar for 3x the price. Works fine.

Improvement Points: Ensure the equipment is fit for purpose before selling to customers. The plug that attaches to the phone is loose and a poor fit. This could damage the phones socket rendering the customers £1,000 plus phone useless as they will no longer be able to charge the phone.
