Prior to purchasing this cable, I enquired as to it's suitablity for my requirements: Connecting headphones (USB-C) to my PC sound outlet (3.5 jack). I was assured by Maplin that it would be fine for the job, so I placed the order. However when I tried using the cable, it didn't work and I got no sound at all to the headphones. I requested a return and refund, and this was dealt with promptly, although I still ended up out of pocket due to original postage costs. I probably won't be asking for their advice again!
