Kodak PIXPRO AZ255 16MP 25x Astro Zoom Bridge Camera - Black

Really impressed with this camera. I have now had chance to try it out as have been on holiday and tested all the functions on it. I had a compact digital zoom before, so this is a larger camera than what I had, but it is still quite light to carry around. It takes good zoom pictures and the auto function takes good all round pictures, but I also tried the Aperture Priority and Shutter priority, which if the picture seems a bit dark does lighten the picture. Have used the movie mode and panorama mode and they work really well. The zoom works well in the movie mode and I could get quite a good movie at a good distance away. Tried the sunset mode as well and got some really good sunsets. On the scene mode in portrait, it suggests using a tripod, but I just held it steady on a table or wall and the picture came out well. I like the fact it tells you what mode you are in as well.
The only disadvantage is that it takes 4 x AA batteries, so you always have to have batteries ready charged and also you have to remember to click the flash up as it is not automatic.
I liked the package of a free camera bag, battery charger and batteries, strap and free gift of mobile phone waterproof cover.
All in all a great buy.

Picture quality is disappointing.

Camera housing feels cheap due to materials used

I would suggest spending a bit more money to get a better quality upgrade on this camera
