The PE jacket is weatherproof and UV resistant ensuring they do not erode over the years. A trunking is recommended if you are burying these cables as they are not spade proof.

High Quality Cable using top of the range 24AWG Copper cable ISO/IEC 11801 & EN 50288 & TIA EIA-568-B.2-1 ETL/3P Verified E164469-F3 Definition: CAT6 is an Ethernet cable standard defined by the Electronic Industries Association and Telecommunications Industry Association (commonly known as EIA/TIA). CAT6 is the 6th generation of twisted pair Ethernet cabling. CAT6 cable contains four pairs of copper wire and unlike CAT5 utilizes all four pairs. CAT6 supports Gigabit (1000 Mbps) Ethernet and supports communications at more than twice the speed of CAT5e the other popular standard for Gigabit Ethernet cabling. I bought this ethernet cable to replace one I purchased on Amazon. Maplins cable was by far superior to the one bought on Amazon. It’s definitely cat6. Copper cored not like the one sold on Amazon, it was copper coated alliuminium.
