Seems good after a few weeks. But once I'd got it to the height and angle I wanted - which took a fair amount of force, as there seems to be no way to loosen the hinges to adjust it and then to lock it in place - I haven't tried collapsing it again, for travel for instance. I worry that if I started doing that it wouldn't hold the laptop in place. It just seems to rely on friction to stay as you put it
